hazelle had her second photo shoot with her agency on March 28th. She did a much better job this time at attempting to smile! She doesn't just give that stuff away for free! My baby is getting so big!
Enjoy!

~Sweet Grandma Hazel~

This weekend we went to Palo Alto to celebrate Grandma Hazel's life and love. To say celebrate doesn't mean that it was easy.

We arrived in San Jose on Thursday early afternoon. Hazelle slept the entire flight! I try to plan the flight around nap times. Good job Mom! Pattie had already been there so she picked us up and we headed to get the rental cars. Once we had gotten them we headed to the hotel and dropped off our bags. I think we were all still ok at this point, but once we pulled up to the house I had such a sad feeling come over me. It was so strange to be there and know that she wasn't there. We knew at our last trip in March that would be our last visit with her, but it still just didn't make it any easier. So we enter and are welcomed by Bette, Larry and Joyce but no Grandma..... Me being me, become emotional after being there an hour or so. It's was much more emotional than I thought it would be. As the day goes on others arrive, like Adam and Tyler and the Pressley's. It's always fun to hang out with the cousins. Hazelle had a great time playing with Sean and Mckenna! By the end of the trip she could tell you who all of the aunts, uncles, cousins and dogs were.
Of course we ate and ate..... What else do you do when you go to Grandma's!!!!
We played games, which was a lot of fun.
Friday was the service and what a beautiful one it was. Mike Ichikawa made a really beautiful video of grandmas life. He made copies for all of us to take home as well. Of course after the service we headed back to grandmas house to visit and eat. What a spread!!! She wouldn't of had it any other way! We got to visit with family that we don't usually get to see and relax in the sun. Oh the sun! It's to bad that it takes these types of gatherings to get everyone together!
On Saturday we took a tour of Santa Clara University. Tyler was happy to show us around the grounds and his dorm. The university just added a beautiful state of the art library. We had fun in the book store buying t-shirts and hoodies! Thanks Tyler!! After our tour we stopped at IN-n-OUT..yummy!
So we really did end up having a good weekend!

We'll miss the family and can't wait to see them again!

Pretty Pretty Princess

Sunday was April's bridal shower. We brought the dress and shoes to show April. Hazelle was not excited about trying it on at first, but then once it was on she loved it. I told her it was a princess dress and as you can see she thought she was a princess. So sweet!
Let's hope she acts sweet on the wedding day! Fingers crossed!!!

1st Easter egg hunt!

It was the girls first Easter egg hunt and they love it. We had to stop Hazelle so that Julia and Dominic could get some of the eggs. As you'll see in the pictures she was on the chairs and even under the table. The weather was pretty nasty that day so we had the hunt in Nana and Papa's party room.
We are bad at getting our pictures off the camera so I actually took these either from Erica or my dad. Ours are still on the camera!

Happy Birthday Julia!!!

The weekend we celebrated Julia's 2nd birthday! It was a lot of fun. The girls played with all of Julia's toys. Hazelle liked the car best and did anything she could to keep it away from Julia. We got to eat cake, open presents and cuddle with baby Maddie! Hazelle and Julia enjoyed Nonna, Poppie, Nana and Papa time! Oh and we played the Wii, which I beat Matt at golf! Oh Yeah!
